Raj Pillai is a former crew member who served on the USS Wasp LHD-1, a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship of the United States Navy. As one of the most versatile ships in the fleet, the USS Wasp LHD-1 has been deployed in a variety of roles, including as a landing platform for amphibious assaults, a forward-deployed command and control center, and a humanitarian aid and disaster relief platform.

Raj Pillai's 10 year journey with the Navy begun on this ship where he formed strong bonds and memories that have stayed with him long after his service had ended. Naming this company 6^th Fleet INC is a way for him to honor his service as well as salute his shipmates who have sacrificed their time and lives for this great nation.
